Hey this is on my IBM Thinkpad T40.
Intel Mobile Pentium M at 1.5ghz
1.25GB ram and supports up to 2GB maximum memory
    120GB Harddrive
    14.1" TFT display
    32MB RADEON 7500
    Ultrabay DVD
    Microsoft Windows XP

I've been trying to get my S-video out working for my laptop and haven't found anything useful. I checked lenovos site which looked promising but maybe I'm missing some kind of ATI plug in or driver.
If you look at the lenovo site
    "http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/MIGR-58625.html"
You'll see detailed instructions on how to set it up but where it says
"# Right click a blank area on the desktop and click Properties.
    # Click the Settings tab.
    # Click the Advanced button.
    # Click the ATI Displays tab"

I don't have that additional stuff under advanced, I just have the few standard tabs, not that crazy ATI logo'd stuff.

Any idea what I might be missing here or what's the problem???

Usually the "additional stuff" is installed with the video driver. Have you tried reinstalling the video driver? If not click HERE, Download the EXE file, then follow the directions on the site to first uninstall your current drivers, then install the new ones.

Well when you said it came with the drivers it got me thinking.
The driver installs from lenovo aren't you're usual drivers...at least not that I'm used to, in a sense that it's an executable that extracts to a specific folder with more exe's.
After I ran the first exe, I went in and ran another one of the many exe's and it seemed to load the driver properly for my videocard.
Well when you said it should have been installed with the driver I figured something wasn't right because my device manager said it was all good and was the proper videocard listed for this laptop.
I checked again on lenovo's site and it was the right driver download.
I thought about it a bit more and remembered there were other exe's that extracted from that first file, went and poked around and tried a couple, first one tried to load but had an error and terminated, the second installed something like "Controller package" or something similar.
Restarted and boom, all the tabs were there.
I haven't tested to see if it works yet because yet again, I'm having a different problem that needs to be posted somewhere else.
Thanks for the help, that's what got me thinking!

So as it is for now, until I can get back on the laptop I'll have to assume it is solved and will be marked so.
