Please tell where to download a java program that does not have a trojan attached. I have tried several times in order to use the pogo website again. I had used the site for a long time with no problem but then suddenly an update from sun-java was infected. As a novice it took me forever to get rid of it. I finally did with help from this site. Thanks so much.
Every time I have tried to replace the java app, it has been infected. Thank you for any help you can give me

if you are worried about malware, click here, follow the instructions, and I'll move your post to the malware section if necessary. I'll have to have someone examine it first to make sure that it requires it.

    thanks,

It is extremely unlikley that your java itself is infected
What is very common is that a java applet on a website is infected & your antivirus warnsd about java being infected

clear your Java cache as shown http://www.java.com/en/download/help/5000020300.xml

BUT there is a possiblity that you unwittingly downloaded a virus by responding to a fake update warning. Do what Valis said & post the logs here where we can see what is wrong
