    Anybody know cheap prices for sata150 hdds? preferably $30 or under.

    You can look at zipzoomfly.com, tigerdirect, idk if amazon sells them, but i don't think you're gonna find one for under 30. Save some money and then shop for one.

    What do you need a SATA for, and why limit the budget to $30?

    its either sata or scsi but im lazy so im goin with sata because i dont have to buy a raid card and stuff and there is no budget limit i just like cheap prices lol :rolleyes:

    lol good thing you chose sata because you're never gonna find a scsi drive for that low.

    If you cruise these sites regularly, you'll come across great deals on hardware, but I haven't seen any $30 SATA drives yet. There is a 160gig IDE drive for $39, that looks attractive. :)

    Actually I can get a 9.1GB 10000rpm scsi Fujitsu hdd for 30 bucks here

    Well, a 9.1gig drive isn't exactly a great deal! Gee, I'll sell you several 10K RPM SCSI drives for less than that. :D
