OS is Win 2K. I have a folder containing about 150 files (all are Word files but I don't think that's germane to my question). Using Explorer, I can open the folder and view a list of the files. Is there any way to save that list as a text document?

I guess I just like the old fashion way of doing things.

    dir *.* /b > filelist.txt

I always wondered how to put the "Solved" in a thread title. Thanks for the info.

Two solved for the price of one :D

As a side note, that wasn't always an option. It's fairly new and I try to mention it when I see the registration dates of the posters :)
