In the IBM scanning software, in the options, do you see the USB printer? I use an HP scanner, and I believe my scan to option has to be set there.

The Lexmark printer don't have a parallel connection just a USB, I think I will have to get a printer with a Parallel connection so I can connect to the Scanner

I shouldn't think that would be an issue. It's in the way you have the scanning software setup.

Perhaps try reinstalling that so it can find the new printer and put it in its choices of a 'print to' printer.

Are you trying to use this setup as a copier? Or are you scanning to a file such as a doc file? If to a file you should scan it to the program handling that file whether it be a text file or a picture file. Then you should be able to print from with in the program for the file. Word Processing or photo/picture editor.
