Solved: Screen to bright on my new laptop!

    How can I darken my screen alittle on this laptop?

    its a toshiba winxp laptop

    Hi Jamma Jessie If you bought it locally can you not call the store . You may find the make and model website as well . Some have operating manuals you can download .

    have a look at the F keys and see if you have one with like a kids grapic of a sun - if you use the FN key and this key together (on my compaq its on F10) you will get a slider to change the brightness

    otherwise model of laptop - then we can find manual and have a read
