Could anyone provide me a solution as to why the network shares I create (compmgt.msc > Shared Folders > Shares) disappear and those that I stop sharing (administrative shares [DriveLeter]$) are re-enabled after a reboot?

Every time I reboot I need to re-share and disable the administrative shares.

Create a DWORD type as AutoShareWks with a value of 0.
Code:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\LanManServer\Parameters
Name: AutoShareWks
Data Type: REG_DWORD
Value: 0
This will disable Vista automatically sharing ADMIN shares upon restart. Any shares that were personally created will no longer be deleted.
