everytime i try to do anything on my computer this message comes up..
"explore has caused an error in SHELL32.DLL. Explorer will now close."
Im not sure whats wrong, but its keeping me from being able to do anything really. Someone please help if you can!!!

no i dont think so? i also have an error when i start up my computer. " The APCMAIN.EXE file is linked to missing export KERNEL32.DLL:process32FirstW. I have no clue what that means.

Try using system file checker, you will need the original install Cd

Start>Programs>Accessories>System tools>System Information .
Select Tools>System file checker.

nope didnt find any problems.. i also have a problem with my icons messing up.. man just seems like everything..

That file is part of Ascentive Performance Center, is it compatible with WinME?

Uninstall it and see if troubles go away.

ok would you know why all my icons would be black and white?? i looked for the shelliconcache and there isnt one so im not sure what to do.
