While in the process of re-installing Encarta 2004 Reference Library Plus (DVD), I received the following message from SPY SWEEPER:

A BHO (Browser Helper Object) is being installed in Internet.

EROPROJ.DLL is being installed as a browser add-on.

If you are installing an Internet Explorer toolbar, you may want to allow installation of this browser add-on.

This message appeared when the Installation Status was writing system registry values, if that means anything.

I figure it's probably okay to allow this file, but I'm always leery of messages I don't understand. I would appreciate hearing from anyone who understands why this message popped up. Thank you.

If it is occurring while it is installing something, it is probably safe as you are more than likely simply writing a registry value to encarta from internet explorer. You may not see it as this may only concern the system but it is still harmless as it is most likely simply an encarta dll. See no harm in allowing it.

Thank you very much for your input. :)

My feelings are much the same as yours, so I'm going to allow the file. I don't expect any problems from doing so. Thanks again.
