Hello,
I am just wondering when the release date of windows xp service pack 3. I find it strange how when i run windows update, i do not see it on the update site NOR the catalog. Why cant i find this update yet i read some reports of people getting it. Are these still betas? If so, could someone tell me when it is being launched so i can ensure my xp computers are up to date. Im just getting a little confused here about what is going on and all help would be appreciated.

Oh ok, are they out of beta though? If so, where could i get it. I do know that sp1 for vista is out and it is strange how xp is not there yet as Microsoft claimed they would officially launch both at once. Thanks for clarifying that however whitphil.

SP3 should be out in a second half of April.
Don't install any betas on your main computer.

Oh dont worry about that im not loading anything on any systems until their final. Once it is confirmed there final i loaded them. I loaded sp1 on vista when i heard a buddy at work had it appear on windows update although i did not. I got it from the microsoft download catalog so i would assume it was final or it would not be there. So i loaded it from there. Thanks alot guys. Im going to mark this solved.
