What would be the recommended sizes for partitions on a 40 Gig HD? I am installing "XP Pro" in a 'clean,' new computer. I want to have the OS in one partiton; likely, programs in another (including Office XP Pro), a third for a possible 2nd OS down the pike (I realize my HD is a bit small for this. I will also have an external 40 Gig HD that might be used for the 2nd OS, as well as for backup of the prime HD.), and the fourth for data files. I have no experience with partitions, so any comments and advice will be greatly appreciated.
