I baught the somic e-96 headphones today and plugged it in via USB and it installed everything right. I have windows 7 and it doesn't make a sound, I downloaded and installed the new drivers for windows 7 for the headphones but it still doesn't work. Any ideas?

I dont have win7 so not specific to that OS but I would have a look at the volume controls - mixer settings and see what volume settings you have available there

I just went to the Somic Webpage, and the E96 isn't even listed on thier website. The E95 is and the E86 is though. Yet there is no link to download drivers on the website that I can find.

Yeah I saw... thats kinda dumb... and even if you look at any of their products, they dont have a download section... I found drivers via a Mandaran site... which was horrible to say the least... if you need I can send you the link to the site

I solved the problem and it has nothing to do with the drivers for windows 7. You have to right click on the little speaker icon in the bottom right corner and select "playback devices" and then set the USB Multi-Channel Audio Device to default device and then it will work and if you want to change back to speakers just set your speakers to default device.;)
