I'm running the above system. I downloaded a song from iTunes, then played it using Windows Media Player. I now have the situation where the song appears in a playlist (the only item in the playlist), and it will play from there, but it doesn't appear anywhere else in the library - not under artist, album or whatever. If I use the search function in Media Player with the library contents on screen, I receive the message 'there are no matching items in this view'. When I right click the file and open file location, it appears in my music folder in the various artists column, but it's not there in Media Player.
Any ideas folks??
