I know that most people wants to get rid of that clicking sound in IE but in my case is the opposite. I like that sound, got used to it, but suddenly I lost it(just like that). I went to Control panel/Sound and audio devices/Sounds and under Start navigation the sound is selected to "none". When I apply the appropriate sound(Windows xp Start.wav) and save it that setting disappears immediately when I close the dialog box and gets back to "none"! Any ideas what went wrong and how to get it back again(System restore didn't help)?
