Solved: Sound problem

    I have just updated my computer from xp home to pro, and now my speakers do not work??? They are plugged in the front through the head phone port. When i go to my control panel/sounds and audio devices it says no audio device??? any help or advice would be a great help and thanks in advance:confused:

    try installing the drivers

    sorry for not being very specific. First, you need to know what sound card you have. Then you go to the manufactuer's website, and they should have the approipate drivers needed for your sound card to work

    many thanks got it all sorted i needed to down load the SIGMATEL STAC 92XX C-Major HD Audio, and now every thing works just fine. Thank you for your help...
