    Hello

I can't seem to get a decent volume of of my speakers, i am using plug in speakers but i have to turn them of 3/4 capacity to get a decent sound.
I checked my speaker settings on my system and they are set ar 3/4 also, i checked with HP help desk and they told me not to turn up speaker settings pass half ? The speakers are Labtec and my computer is Compac Presario , Windows XP

    Thank you

    Dan

double click the speaker icon on the task bar -
is the WAVE button all the way up?
sometimes speaker volume (playback) is turned up but wave volume is too low
