[SOLVED] stack faults?

    Hello all I have solved alot of problems here So i am thanking everyone in advance!
    Here is my problem, I have a hp 1000 mhz 128 ram windows me.
    My mouse will freeze sometimes for 5 too 30 seconds and some time freeze everything can not soft boot have to turn off power.
    I get alot og explorer caused unknown error. and desk top or tray disapears. I have run spybot, ad aware, hijack cw shredder
    they find junk and clean up. But when i freeze and reboot they find a few more.
    I did find sysres in startup and unchecked it. like i say i get alot of explorer errors and when i try to shut down everything loaded
    gets an error?
    Any ideas?

    Just for the fun of it, why not try an online virus scan at TrendMicro's HouseCall and see if you may have a virus. Spybot and Ad-Aware are not designed to catch viruses.

    Bill i did run norton virus scan and then house call and both say i am clean.
    I was reading my email when you posted and froze up and had to hard boot again

    just scanned again with housecall at 7:30pm and it says i am clean.? I did have a virus a few days ago called hantaner a but cleaned it up per instructions. Any other ideas? please

    It seems to me that you have covered the spyware/adware/virus route without a solution. Maybe it would help if you could post what the "error" messages are that you are getting. That way, someone perhaps would be able to pinpoint the cause?

    Most of the time the mouse will try to freeze then sooner or later the whole system will freeze with no errors. and sometimes i get exploer error at unknown

    I'm sorry Chris, but I've not had experience with what I'm begining to believe is a OS problem of some nature with your ME. Perhaps someone else has an ideas.

    Also, you could try Microsoft Support and see if you can find something. Or here for ME/computer freezes. I wish I could tell you just what to do, bt alas I don't know. :(
