Solved: Still a problem with IE 8 in Windows 7

    I have read, I believe, all the posts about IE problems in Windows 7, but still have no menu, no toobar of any kind. Pressing ALT does not even temporarily bring up the menu, can't see "view," "home, NOTHING except the words across the top of the screen that say: You, Search, Images, Maps, Play, News, UTube, GMail, Drive, Calendar and More >>. If I press >> all it does is show my Favorites.
    Everyone says to go to "view" (which I can't see on my screen) or "tools" (which I also can't see on my screen. Is there ANYthing else I can do? IE is useless like this for me. I've pasted the info requested below.
