Is there a way to store a PDF file in Access?

I want to be able to store the file and if needed print it on request.

The database needs to be portable so linking poses a difficulty.

i do not know if there is a way or not but I would suggest creating a related "attachments" table where you can store hyperlinks that link to your PDF files that are stored elsewhere (which is where they
    *ought* to be anyway).

This is just my view on it, but OBP is the best person for this.

I don't know about Storing .pdf files in Access, it may well be possible with Access 2007.
But it is normal to "Link" to it, especially in earlier models.

Switched project to Access 2007 and used the attachment data type. Works great now!

    Thanks
