I was in shock, when received today this message in my Yahoo mailbox...PLEASE help!!!!!

    Dear Customer,

Our robot has detected an abnormal activity from your IP adress
on sending e-mails. Probably it is connected with the last epidemic
of a worm which does not have official patches at the moment.

We recommend you to install this patch to remove worm files
and stop email sending, otherwise your account will be blocked.

That message is very likely spam and clicking on the link and installing that patch will probably install the worm or trojan it claims it is eliminating. My advice would be to ignore it and do nothing

the ip address in the link resolves to

    IP address: 68.61.229.214
    IP country: United States
    IP address state: Michigan
    IP address city: Clinton Township
    IP postcode: 48038
    IP latitude: 42.599098
    IP longitude: -82.931198
    ISP: Comcast Cable
    Organization: Comcast Cable
    Host: c-68-61-229-214.hsd1.mi.comcast.net
    Local Time: 2007-07-09 19:21

if you are truly worried email comcast customer service and ask them if they sent you the email and explain to them it looked suspicious (save the email, they may ask you to forward it so they can take appropriate action against the account holder if it is actually spam)
