    Hi
I downloaded a email attachment with .eml extension. Intially I could not open with MS Word. I asked the person who sent it and he suggested me to d/l word viewer 2003 to view it. I could read the contents with word viewer, but now I am not able to remove that icon from my desktop. It shows the size as 0 bytes, and when I try to remove the message displayed is cannot delete file: Cannot read from the source file or Disk.

I uploaded the screeen shots to image shack as below.

Please help me remove this icon from my desktop. Tks.

Hi. try downloading Unlocker a widely available freeware, you will have the option to delete on next reboot if no locking handle is found.

    Hi 12tipp12

Thank you very much it worked like a wonder.

When I checked with Unlocker "no locking handle found" was displaying. Then Why I was not able to delete it in the normal way, even I tried to do delete it through command prompt route please.
