Solved: Superduper for Mac Hard drive imagaing

    I did a google search for hard drive imaging software for Mac's. I found superduper at the link below. Looking for input from anyone who might have experience with this software. Is it the best basic imaging software I can get for a mac. Basic is all I need.

    I already imaged my own pc with Acronis, and found it fairly easy. My dad has a mac and I want to help him image his hard drive just in case the mac gets "sick".:eek:

    You don't need to image a Mac like Windows, it does make life a bit easier.

    Use time machine to back up, if the hard drive fails, you will have to reinstall OSX, but time machine will do the rest.

    Not a Mac guy but considering OS X is BSD based I would bet you could use DD as well.
