Recently I have been getting this error message after I remove the CD from the drive or eject my ipod or any USB memory stick. This message keeps popping up until I restart the computer and then does not reappear until I again eject the CD etc.
I also suspect this has cause problems with the DVD drive as when I insert a CD everything is ok but when I insert a DVD into the drive (new, old, commercial, etc) it does not read it at all, there are just some noises from the drive for about 20 seconds and then nothing. Through MY COMPUTER I can see the drive but it appears to be empty (it is not).
    Can anyone help?
