Hi all and thank you for your time!

Symantec Auto protect keeps popping up with a couple of Trojans every half hour-hour even when the system is idle. I have run full system scans in safe mode and nothing comes up. I have tried Trend micro and kaspersky as well.
Also Spy Bot S+D is installed, scans with that show nothing. I attempted to install windows service pack 3 prior to this issue but it went into endless reboot due to the fact i have an AMD processor. I had to go in through safe mode and go back to service pack 2. I'm wondering if this is making me vulnerable to these trojans? This is my second problem since attempting the service pack install.

ETA: The trojans keep popping up in C:\Documents and Settings\LocalService\Local Settings\Temp

    *Update*
I installed Zone alarm and it found incoming connections(So much for windows firewall, but i should have known better). At the same time i noticed a strange program running in Task Manager titled "BDMEB71J.EXE"
I found these files after searching for that .exe "bdMeb71j.exe.a_a" in the system 32 folder and "BDMEB71J.EXE-14A00431.pf" in Prefetch folder.
I put them into the recycle bin temporarily just in case they are the culprit.

Since doing the Zonealarm install and moving the files above symantec hasn't shown any new trojans yet. I will leave the pc running over night and update if anything shows up.

Here is a current HJT log.

    Hi, Welcome to TSG!!

Run HJT again and put a check in the following:

    O2 - BHO: BitComet ClickCapture - {39F7E362-828A-4B5A-BCAF-5B79BFDFEA60} - C:\Program Files\BitComet\tools\BitCometBHO_1.1.11.30.dll (file missing)

Close all applications and browser windows before you click "fix checked".

Please download ATF Cleaner by Atribune.

    • Double-click ATF-Cleaner.exe to run the program.
    • Under Main choose: Select All
    • Click the Empty Selected button.

Click Exit on the Main menu to close the program.

Please download Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and save it to your desktop. alternate download link 1 alternate download link 2
    • Make sure you are connected to the Internet.
    • Double-click on Download_mbam-setup.exe to install the application.
    • When the installation begins, follow the prompts and do not make any changes to default settings.
    • When installation has finished, make sure you leave both of these checked:
      • Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware
      • Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware
    • Then click Finish.
    • MBAM will automatically start and you will be asked to update the program before performing a scan. If an update is found, the program will automatically update itself. Press the OK button to close that box and continue. If you encounter any problems while downloading the updates, manually download them from here and just double-click on mbam-rules.exe to install.
    • On the Scanner tab:
      • Make sure the "Perform Quick Scan" option is selected.
      • Then click on the Scan button.
    • If asked to select the drives to scan, leave all the drives selected and click on the Start Scan button.
    • The scan will begin and "Scan in progress" will show at the top. It may take some time to complete so please be patient.
    • When the scan is finished, a message box will say "The scan completed successfully. Click 'Show Results' to display all objects found".
    • Click OK to close the message box and continue with the removal process.
    • Back at the main Scanner screen, click on the Show Results button to see a list of any malware that was found.
    • Make sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
    • When removal is completed, a log report will open in Notepad and you may be prompted to restart your computer. (see Note below)
    • The log is automatically saved and can be viewed by clicking the Logs tab in MBAM.
    • Copy and paste the contents of that report in your next reply with a new hijackthis log.
Note: If MBAM encounters a file that is difficult to remove, you will be presented with 1 of 2 prompts. Click OK to either and let MBAM proceed with the disinfection process. If asked to restart the computer, please do so immediately. Failure to reboot will prevent MBAM from removing all the malware.

    Great!

    You're welcome!

It's a good idea to Flush your System Restore after removing malware and create a new restore point.
Turn off system restore, restart the machine and then turn it back on: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/310405
