    Hey Everyone!

This morning I turned on my computer and came up with this message Click Here to see message!

You porbably can't read it. This is what it says: Windows can not find 'C:\PROGRA~1\INSTAL~1\{49BF4~1\setup.exe'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again. To search for file, click the Start button, and then click Search.

Does anyone have any suggestions to solve this problem?

Thank you so much for your time!

    Try this:

    Click START, RUN
    Type MSCONFIG
on the next screen click SELECTIVE STARTUP then click STARTUP tab at the top
Find 'C:\PROGRA~1\INSTAL~1\{49BF4~1\setup.exe' and remove the check
Click CLOSE and let it reboot
After it reboots put the check so you don't see the sys config thingy everytime you boot

    Hey!

I checked in every single command for each start up item but there was none with the command: C:\PROGRA~1\INSTAL~1\{49BF4~1\setup.exe. What else could I do?

    Thanks!

can you bring up a command prompt?

    type:

    CD C:\PROGRA~1\INSTAL~1

    Paste back the results of these two commands;

    DIR

    DIR /A:H

    These are InstallShield folders

You can see those from Explorer, just ensure that Show Hidden files is selected.
Then, double click on the first one starting with 49B
There should be a file there called Setup.ini
Double click to open and see if there is any info as to what app it belongs to.

Although, since the SETUP.exe program is missing, I am guessing the folder is empty?

    Hey you guys!

I found out that the files in side that file were all part of a virus inside a driver I downloaded for my Logitech controller. I then decided to delete that file but leave it in the recycling bin. Once I restarted my computer everything was perfect! I later uninstalled the driver and got the official one from Logitech. I would like to thank everyone for their time and help.

    Bye! :)
