Solved: System\sysmenu.dll

    Keep getting message that system\sysmenu.dll is missing.
    How do I get rid of this message?

    Have you tried....

    1. Running sfc /scannow as an Administrator with elevated priveledges

    2. System Restore to a time prior to when the message appeared

    T.

    NOTE : There is a space between c and / in the above command

    Used a free program called FreeFixer to remove the two items causing the problem. SOLVED

    Elkrott, so is the sysmenu.dll still missing or does running FreeFixer actually replace the DLL or simply suppress the message..?

    You wrote that FreeFixer removed the two items causing the problem. Which two items were these..?

    After removing the two items found by FreeFixer the two messages I get disappeared.
    Didn't save the two items I removed.
