My hard disk crashed on my 1 year old dell computer, Geek Squad replaced it as under warranty and installed windows but when I got it home first time I turned it on I got a blue screen - restarted and loaded ok. But since then it has run very slowly, and cannot get printer to print although when request scan printer responds, I have trouble loading programs like Microsoft works, Internet explorer is always closing as are the other few programs I have on. Tried to run Hijack this and the system denied access to write to Host file. Yet another problem.

Geek Squad charges $200 for software problems that are not under warranty. Please Please can you help me atleast try to write Hijack file so you can possibly look at the problems. Thank you for reading this.

If Windows is denying access to the Hosts file, run HijackThis as Administrator or disable the UAC first.

Thank you Phantom010! Here is the Hijack log, is there anything here you can see that would cause a problem with the Internet Explorer and adding programs/printer to my system. I tried loading IE 9 but ended up reverting back to IE8 which worked better.
