    The item is a mystery. Some how an icon in the shape of a folder with what looks like the "gear" symbol is on my task bar. The "title" is that of the front page of my website.

    I have tried to remove the item, but when I either right or left click on it my laptop "freezes." Everything, including Task Manager, curser, the works. I have to shut down with the power on-off switch.

    How can I eliminate this troublesome "bugger."

    Thanks, {redoak} :confused:

    I have mysteriously solved my problem! I really don't know what caused a dialog box to come up when I was attempting to manage a screen shot. It asked for my website server access info. I entered it and was then able to routinely delete the item.

    I was having trouble doing a screen shot because the item was in the "extension area" of the task bar, so when I clicked on a key or the screen that "extension area' would disappear.

    Thanks for the response, {redoak}
