I've read the moderator's post, and I'm total agree with him! I read this forum ago a long long time, and I've just understand something was happening when I've read the italian (puah) posts. I'm very happy for this moderator words, so I hope all italian traders (puahhh) will come back to their ****ing markets!

Any ideas as to what their goal was? What was the purpose of Trolling this board?

I consider what happened today to be site specific spam. I think anyone has the right to post here, but this was a concentrated effort to disrupt a web-page..

The perpetrators are clever in that they didn't go into the tech threads and get there IP's banned immediately.

I would bet they have done the same trick on forums all over the web, I am glad Mulder has a handle on this as I fear it may get worse before it gets better.

(BTW, hats off to the TSG girls for running them to page 2 , especially JG )

Mulder did good for the whole site and all the people that come and like this site so much.
To keep the site the same things have to stay the same and that means english.

Mouldy never does good, we must never forget that. If he did anything that had a knock-on effect of being good to others, you can be sure he was unaware of that effect. :D
I will disagree with you there hewee. I've seen plenty of posts in other languages that have received help and assistance by those members who speak multiple languages. The problem I found with this spate of Italian SPAM was the sheer idiocy of the postings, which had no bearing what-so-ever on anything, other than the sheer exuberance of creating a post.

BTW, it is still happening, as some of them are online right now.

I will go along with you on that Randy.

What happen here yesterday was over kill and was done for no good reason at all but to upset others.

All I can say is they need to grow up.

I was here last night for this misuse of the web site. I worked as hard as my home dial up would let me. Thanks to JG for keeping it going and doing the pep rally for us.

I think it's more a proximity term than a regional term. For ex. When you are in proximity of your boys its a "Strip Club" however in proximity of your wife it then becomes "Gentlemen's Club". ;)
