(Solved) Toolbar Quick Launch

Can anyone please tell me how to put a little icon into the toolbar for Quick Launch??? I am not talking about going into start\run\msconfig\startup..That is beside the time and date...It is the Quick Launch little icons to the left of that??? Thanks

Well any shortcut you put on the desktop you can drag it to the quicklaunch bar. That's all i can tell you with the info you posted.

draging icons from desktop into the toolbar Quick launch don't work it want let me do that... I am runing windows 98se

Freddie-If you can't drag and drop try this.

After you have the shortcut on your desktop right click it and click "Copy" then go to C:\Windows\Application Data\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch and click on a blank spot and right click and click paste.

See the image below.

PS-When you drag and drop your are clicking on the desktop shortcut with the left mouse button and holding it down and draging it to QL until you see the cursor change to a cross beam then letting go?

Thank you Deke that works.......C:\Windows\Application Data\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch and click on a blank spot and right click and click paste.
