Sorry guys, but I really do not know where to stick this question. Someone was putzking around with my keyboard and did something to the keys.

I have a toshiba laptop C650D satellite laptop.

When I press the apostrophe icon I get a letter e...like this...donèt When I click same key but want the quotation marks I get this È. Same with the key beside the apostrophe quotation key....it is this ààà and this ÀÀÀ Question mark key is the same...ÉÉÉÉ

Can you say annoying. What on earth did someone press to make these oh so wonderful changes

Go to Control Panel, then keyboard.

Make sure the appropriate language is selected.

did that but there is not anything that pertains to language....just says stuff about speed, cursor blink rate, under hardware tab it just says the keyboard is basically standard and that it is plugged into a port and is working properly
