Solved: Transfer .dbx file of outlook express to windows mail on vista

Hi folks
I have around 500+ MB *.dbx file which i backed up from old pc running outlook express 6. Now the old pc is not with me.
I'm now using vista home edition.
could any one please guide me how do i put all those *.dbx file to work in Windows Mail in vista? so that i can read all my email in windows mail.

Have you looked at "File import, Messages, Microsoft Outlook Express 6," and then browsed to the location that you have the ".dbx" file?

Thanks for the response.
you got me wrong.
I have raw *.dbx files copied & pasted from Microsoft Outlook Express 6. Now how do i read it from Windows Mail in Vista ?
I hope you got me now.

let me mention that i have all the *.dbx file inside that folder.

As stated in the tutorial, Vista will sometimes duplicate the folder in the directory path.
Please look at the directory path again, is:

D:\outlookmail\outlookmail

the correct directory path?

Thanks Eafiedler.
The correct path was d:\outlookmail not d:\outlookmail\outlookmail.
i was puzzled that why windows Mail took it as d:\outlookmail\outlookmail.
I did "select" folder and it worked.
thankyou very much for pointing out my mistake. You have Eagles eye.
