I have my Pc and Laptop networked, both using Win XP. The networking works perfect. they are networked via Linksys Router.

I am trying to copy a file from my Laptop to one of the PC's Hard drive partitions. The partition has 24 Gig free space and the file I am trying to copy is 14 Gigs. But when I try to copy or cut the file, it gives me the error that I don't have enough space in my PC partition!

"Cannot copy Video1: There is not enough free disk space.
Delete one or more files to free disk space, and then try again.

Run disk cleanup ....."

I did run disk-clean up and I have well enough space. Hopw can I do this transfer and why am I getting this error?

BTW, I did restart my PC in Safe Mode with Networking, and I still get this error.

Is the PC's HDD running NTFS? Any single file over 4 gig to a FAT32 drive won't copy you will have to convert to NTFS.
