    Hi,

For some reason I cannot delete one of my picture folders in My Pictures. It says that another user or program is using it. My computer is my personal laptop so its probably a program. The folder was part of a compressed file I downloaded off the internet. Right now I'm trying to clean up and organize my computer. Any ideas as to how I can get rid of it? My computer uses Windows XP. Thanks.

Boot into Safe Mode and see if you can delete it from there.

Restart your computer. As the computer boots, before the splash screen, start tapping the F8 key repeatedly until you are presented with a Windows XP Advanced Options menu.
Select the option for Safe Mode using the arrow keys and then press Enter on your keyboard.
Your desktop will look different with Safe Mode in the 4 corners of the screen.
When you are finished using Safe Mode, just shut down or restart like normal. You will then restart in normal mode.
