Go to Windows Update and check for updates.

If it detects and displays a file for that new monitor, download and install it.

    --------------------------------------------------------

Go to Control Panel - Device Manager.

What's currently listed in the Monitors heading?

You shouldn't need any drivers for a monitor.

    What isn't working?

I'm waiting to see if the monitor INF file has been installed that displays the monitor correctly in the Device Manager instead of "Default Monitor".

It doesn't matter. A monitor shouldn't need a driver. We don't know what the actual problem is.
