Hello,

Im wondering why I keep getting this error. Ive tried to install certs from cacert.org and also thawte.com.

If you are familiar with this error any help would be appreciated.

Did you submit the CSR to the CA? Or are you simply trying to install an arbitrary cert?

What's the certificate for? IIS? Host cert?

Just an arbitrary cert, these sites give you options for either serverside or client certs. I requested a client cert so i can have the ability to encrypt email in outlook. thanks
