Solved: Trying to decode the web IP of my Partner (same lan)

    Hi there, i was trying to find a way to decode my web IP so i can decode the web IP of my partner who is using the same internet as me, here is wat i mean :

    Example: IP: 192.168.1.3
    Web IP:68.196.155.147

    My partner's IP: 192.168.1.4
    Web IP: (find out)

    Logically we r both using the same internet and diiferent IPs as well BUt! i cannot find a way to decod the Web IP f my partner ... u might be saying " look at this idiot, just go to ur computer's partner and look iy up on the internet :/ " well let me tell u this: I DONT WANNA DO THAT , i wanna find a way to decod my Web IP from that IP.

    Well, if he's using the same ISP connection, his public IP address is the same as yours, you only get one for an ISP account. The private IP addresses are only visible on the LAN side of your broadband router.

    If you guys are one the same LAN then he has the same public (web IP) as you.

    lmao! really? wat an idiot i was yeah i kinda thinking about that i should have tested it before posting here :p yeah u r right its the same, thx anyway.

    That is one function of a router. Allows you to use the same Internet connection with one Internet IP address.
