    I have a client who has a Dell Vostro 2510. I installed the Alps touchpad driver which on all my other laptops has a disable tapping feature, but for some reason that feature is not present for this laptop. Am I using the wrong type of driver?

    Any help would be appreciated

    The dell alps touch pad drivers for vista are very plain the setting the poster needs may not be there...I ended up with a toshiba driver that had a few options {Vista}

    Which one did you get?
    Does it have precision scrolling?
    I can find an alps driver with precision scrolling and continued scrolling both
