Can any one help for the above problem? I had a virus problem which was solved in security forum. Later a fresh problem started with MS office 2K. When ever I started any office application windows installer window popped up & the application started freezing up.I tried to un-install the Office Suite through Add/Remove programmes but same problem occured. So i tried un-installation by eraser2K programme, which did the un-installation.Now I am unable to re-install Office suite. Can any one please help?

    Hi shrikantsk,

The URL in my previous post contained important information from Reader Comments, specifically, a technique used by Tim Moore - i.e. the very first reader comment. Suggest you try the same thing he did to trick Eraser2k into running on WinXP.

    Here is the URL again:
    http://www.windowsitpro.com/Article/ArticleID/20416/20416.html

    Also see: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;q239938 and
    Download URL: http://download.microsoft.com/download/office2000pro/update/3.1/win98me/en-us/eraser2k.exe
to insure the you have the 3.1 version instead of 2.1 version of eraser2k.exe
