Hi,

Whenever I try to open a PDF file I recieve the following message. "a website wants to open web content using this program on your computer" and then it tries to open it up in MS Word which then scrambles the PDF file.

I have Adobe Reader X installed but it does not automatically find it and open it up...

Do I have the wrong type of Adobe reader installed? I have another machine that does that same thing...

Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Right click any PDF file and choose properties and check to see what default program is being used to open the files.

Yes, that should work. Just want to add my 2 cents. Don't forget to put a check on Always use the selected program to open this kind of file so everything will be good in one shot.

Btw, it's on properties window > General tab and Change button on Open With
