I'm running Parallels II on my Macbook Pro to run Windows XP. I recently downloaded Uniblue Disc Scanner. Since then, I have been experiencing freezing, and now when I boot up Windows XP, it seems to be permanently frozen. I can't even get to control panel. Can anyone help?

Uniblue software is garbage and sometimes bundles even worse garbage with it, see if you can uninstall it from the Start Menu or try running Add & Remove Programs from the Run command with the following: appwiz.cpl

Also try booting it into Safe Mode and see if you can do more there, you could maybe try System Restore.

Thanks so much!! appwiz.cpl worked like a charm. I tried everything else to no avail. You're a saint!!
You're soooo right, Uniblue is a worthless piece of garbage.

Thanks again,
