After installing IE 7 and hating it, I uninstalled it and went back to IE 6. All went well, untill I tried to do a search in Google....I "cannot" type anything in the search box!

No matter what kind of information box is on a website, if I have to "type" anything into it, it won't let me. There is no cursor there at all, no matter what I try.

    Any Ideas???

    Thanks

    Try this:
Start> Run> type the following commands one by one and hit Enter after each.
    REGSVR32 MSHTMLED.DLL
    REGSVR32 JSCRIPT.DLL
    REGSVR32 /i MSHTML.DLL
Reboot and see if IE works.

    Augie65,

Thanks for your assistance! The first command REGSVR32 MSHTMLED.DLL gave an error of "The Specified Module could not be found". The other two ran just fine.

My problem still exists though. :(

    Thanks...any other ideas??

    I solved my problem.

    I copied two new files to the windows/system32 folder... Mshtmler.dll & Mshtmled.dll

    That fixed it!!

    Thanks
