On a compaq computer running XP this (see attachment) keeps popping up after awakening from screen saver.
It goes away when ok is clicked and normal operation resumes. Its really just a hassle factor. There never was a password in the first place.

We had a look at this: http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=242917 and found that was not the problem.

    Any help appreciated.

Have you tried to disable the screen saver?

Right click your desktop, click properties
Go to the screen saver tab
    Unclick "On resume, password protect"

    Also, try that :)
