Sup all, A friend of mine has a Phenom II X2 550, that he Unlocked to a Quad Core.
Then in MSCONFIG, i Enabled all 4 Processors upon boot up.
He restarted, and lines appeared throughout the POST screen and the resolution in windows was set to low.
So he immediately reverted back to one core.
Then he tried to play Call of duty world at war and was experiencing Low Fps and allot of lag.
    Some games wont even Load.

    CPU-Z shows 1 Core.
    Windows Device manager Shows 4,
Resource Monitor shows activity on all 4 Processors,
    The BIOS shows 4.......

    Tried a system Restore.
The latest Drivers have been installed for Mo/BO.

    Any 1 Any Suggestions.
Could Changing the Start up have killed the other 3 cores??

It was already unlocked b4 we set the boot up option.
That link, wasn't usefll as the phenom was alredy unlocked but windows didnt recognize it, nor did it use the 4 cores,

Updating the BiOS solved the problem.
Hope this helps someone in the futures.

    Thanx Anyway.

    Peace Neb.
