On Windows Vista and 7, there is no "up arrow" to go up a folder, and you need to click the "breadcrumbs" bar to do it. Is this still the case in Windows 8? Sorry for asking here, but I don't know where else to ask. Thanks.

In Windows 8, the "breadcrumb" method still exists. So, if you are used to it, nothing has changed. However, Windows 8 also has the up arrow right next to the "breadcrumbs." So now you have two methods.

Incidentally, Windows 7 does have an "up" arrow, so to speak. Hit the backspace key. That also works in Windows 8.

Thanks. Thought that was the case.
