Ok, I have two notebooks, both running Vista Ultimate. One notebook can't access the internet because of a screwed up network adapter. I know how important it is to keep my computers up to date. So my question is, is it possible to copy the updates from my good notebook and install them onto my other one?

You will need to go to the web site of the KB number and download the update from there and then transfer that to the other laptop.

Well, it would take too much time to download the updates one by one, but heres a thought, since the network card is screwed up, you probably wont be using the internet and wont be intensively needing updates, plus, those little KB updates are minor and barely noticable, the only updates worth downloading are the Major ones like SP1.

It is only important if you are on-line.

Thanks much for all your advice, guys. I guess what it comes down to is that since the laptop in question won't be online, I really don't need the updates. Until next time...Thanks again...
