I've checked my motherboard stats and it stated there something about SiS PCI IDE Controller,therefore I think my motherboard has it.Also,my current HDD also has an IDE tag beside it.I'm not so good with all of this motherboard thing So,do you think that the P-ATA is better?dustyjay said:I am going to go out on a limb and guess you meant PATA, which stands for Parallel ATA or what used to be and still is termed UATA or EIDE. If your board has IDE controllers then yes it will support this drve If by going out on a limb I guessed wrong then OOOOOOPS!
