I'm looking for a PCI USB card that has internal headers for connecting front panel and internal readers. Anyone know of such a beast? It needs to have the NEC USB chipset, no VIA or ALi chipsets please. :)

I really need provisions for two ports, and ideally four. I have several PCI USB 2.0 cards with the internal connection... I suppose I could use several of those cables and snake them in from the rear panel, but that's pretty messy! :D

The bummer is that I have seen those cards in the past, but I can't find them now. :(

Too bad, that would have done the trick for me! :D

That looks good, but the price is absurd! :D I think a different approach may be called for. :D

You can always try unsoldering and removing all or some of the rear panel jacks on one of the more generic (and less $$$) USB PCI cards and replace them with home made headers.

Thanks, but that is the standard 4+1 USB card, I have a couple of those. :)
