I use gmail as my personal email client and i was wondering if its possible to have windows XP home SP3 display how many emails i have in gmail at the login screen.

it currently displays my hotmail inbox(which i dont use due to spam.).

    is it possible to switch?

Hi, No.... not unless there have been changes lately. I use Gmail, too.... there is the Gmail Notifier you can use>

Might also be some fiddling around you can try with having Outlook Express perhaps, keep a copy of all emails on the server.....(meaning the ISP's) but that is more time consuming etc....
