Okay I was not a HardCore gamer but now for my mean time I need to play some of the new junk. Thats why I need a Graphic Card. My problem is that I don't know which one would be fine for me as I am confused in the details given on ATI or nVidia website.

    My System is pretty old:
    AMD Sempron 64 2800+(`1.60GHz)
MSI K8MM-V MoBo having 3*PCI[Standard] and 1*AGP[8x] slots
    768 MB DDR400 RAM
    [80 GB Samsung P-ATA + 80 GB WD S-ATA] @ 7200 RPM
    400 W PSU

The absence of PCI-E slot has narrowed my search but still I'm unable to find which card would suite my needs and would be compatible with my system in a budget of $ 150.
I need at least 256 MB VRAM, support for atleast SM 2.0, OpenGL 2.0 on AGP 8x.
I want to play the new games like Call Of Duty 3, Lost Planet, Doom 3, GTA 4, PoP Two Thrones etc and other new titles.
Please suggest me which one to buy and where I can get it[website]
    Thanks!

Hmmm, you can can run fine on lower setings. Lost planet is a high demanding game, and it requires 2 GB of ram.

My budget for this card is $ 150 only.
As I said before I need at least 256 MB VRAM, support for at least SM 2.0, OpenGL 2.0 on AGP 8x interface.

GeForce 7800GS is good enough but they don't ship to India! I have to look somewhere else.

I have no idea where you'd find that card in India, but that site won't ship outside the U.S.

Other cards to look at aside from the Geforce 7800GS are the Geforce 7900GS or 7950GT, or the Radeon 1950 Pro, or as mentioned the Geforce 7600's.

Will Radeon 1600 or Radeon 1550 be compatible with my computer?
    Are they both good enough?
